Raas Hotel is a haven of contemporary luxury in the heart of Jodhpur, the second largest city of Rajasthan, India. Also known as the Sun City, Jodhpur boasts a perfect weather all year long, making it an ideal vacation spot. It is dominated by 18th century buildings made of red-rose sandstone, the same material that was used in making the lovely Raas Hotel. The color of the sandstone makes the transition between traditional and modern architecture smoother and gives a plus of charm to the city.
Raas Hotel was opened by two cousins of the Maharaja, brothers Nikhilendra Singh and Dhananajaya, together with some British investors. The design and interiors of the hotel were made by Amrish Arora and Rajiv Majumdar from Delhi. All the 39 rooms are tastefully appointed and offer the very best in terms of comfort and luxury.
