A groundbreaking fusion unlike any other of automotive ingenuity and maritime engineering, the Lamborghini 63 is a celebration of Lamborghini’s storied history and design philosophy.
Unveiled by Tecnomar from the Italian Sea Group in 2021 in collaboration with Automobili Lamborghini, this limited-edition yacht pays homage to Lamborghini’s founding year, 1963.
Inspired by the design and performance of the Sián FKP 37, Lamborghini’s first hybrid super sports car, she encapsulates the same essence of Lamborghini’s racing DNA with the Italian Sea Group’s cutting-edge design. From featuring the same start-stop button identical to that in Lamborghini cars to the sleek silhouette inspired by computational fluid dynamics, the Lamborghini 63 blurs the lines between automotive and yacht design. Limited to just 63 units, the exclusivity of this 19.2-metre yacht, paired with her speed, advanced technology and innovative style, further underlines her unique position in the global fleet. Here, we take a closer look at the Lamborghini 63 and why this model is the supercar of the sea.
The Lamborghini 63 is a striking embodiment of Lamborghini’s design philosophy, with her aerodynamic profile and sharp lines echoing the iconic Miura and Countach models from the 1960s and 1970s. The hardtop design is reminiscent of the brand’s open-top roadsters, enhancing both protection and aerodynamic efficiency, while the use of carbon fibre, a typical material used to build Lamborghini cars, makes sure she achieves an ultralight classification with a total weight of just 24 tonnes. The hexagonal motifs and Y-motif lighting accents, staples of Lamborghini’s design, are seamlessly integrated into both the exterior and interior, ensuring the Lamborghini 63 offers the same futuristic appeal as its road-going counterparts.
Inside, the Lamborghini 63 showcases a perfect blend of high-tech innovation and Italian craftsmanship. Inspired by Lamborghini’s supercars, her interiors include clean lines with signature forms from the brand. Owners can customise every detail from the materials and colours used through Lamborghini’s Ad Personam programme, choosing from an array of colours and materials to suit their preferences. The interior layout is also customisable and available in three configurations: a spacious lounge version, a single-cabin version, and a two-cabin version, offering flexibility for various needs. Advanced materials, such as carbon skin, and luxurious furnishings further elevate the yacht’s interior, creating a stylish and functional environment. The pilot’s cabin mirrors the automotive cockpit, integrating navigation and monitoring systems alongside carbon fibre detailing, supersport seats, and the iconic start/stop button found in Lamborghini cars.
Performance remains at the heart of the Lamborghini 63. Powered by twin MAN V12 engines, each delivering an impressive 2,000 horsepower, she achieves a top speed of 60 knots, making her the fastest model in the Tecnomar fleet and in her class. This extraordinary speed, agile handling, and precise engineering mirror the thrill of driving a Lamborghini on the open road. The carbon fibre construction optimises weight distribution and enhances performance, ensuring an exhilarating yet smooth ride across the waves, while her aerodynamic design enhances efficiency and manoeuvrability. Whether gliding through calm waters or slicing through waves, the Lamborghini 63 offers an adrenaline-pumping experience, no matter where you cruise too.
In every detail, the Lamborghini 63 effortlessly combines Lamborghini’s iconic design ethos, advanced technology, and unmatched performance to create the ultimate supercar of the sea.
