Upgrade Living is a construction and design company in Sweden and this great apartment in Stockholm is a good example of just what impressive stuff they can do. Located in the Ostermalm district, the luxury dwelling was designed by Mats Gustafson. With two patios (one of them can host 10 seated people) and large, open rooms, the apartment features a total of 180 square meters (1,937 square feet) of living spaces.
The amenities here are jaw-dropping, including the elevator with private key that opens directly into the dining room. You will also notice a glass ceiling/floor in the pictures below. The glass used for this area is only 3 cm thick (1.2 inch), but it is so resistant that it can hold up to 800 kilograms (1,760 lbs) per square meter.
High-tech is another word that describes this place very well. Everything inside, from the blinds to the fireplace and the air conditioning, is controlled via a remote control. Add to all this the well-balanced, modern interior design and what you get is an outstanding home by Upgrade Living.
