Exclusive Monte Carlo Beach Club in Abu Dhabi

Monte-Carlo Beach Club on the island of Saadiyat expected to fetch $14M by 2014 (5)

The luxurious Monte Carlo Beach resort is the first beach club to open on the exclusive Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi. Created exclusively for the lavish spenders of the elite class, the club was developed by Tourism Development and Investment Company (TDIC). Each member will spend AED35,000 (approx. $9,500) a year on the membership fee, and the club’s manager Patrick Nayrolles expects the resort to make some $14 million by 2014 on these fees alone.

Every inch of the 39,500-sq.m. club spells luxury and style. There is a total of 21 garden and dune cabanas on the property, eight luxury cabanas by the stunning outdoor infinity pool, a small pool for kids, a beautiful sandy beach, several food and beverage outlets, and a 600-sq.m outdoor space with a perfect lawn, ideal for open-air events.

Members here can also enjoy the natural rejuvenation treatments at the club’s spa facility. The spa has two body treatment rooms, a Jacuzzi, a plunge pool and a steam room. For some extra relaxation, guests can also spend some time in the Library Lounge.

Rich tourists can obtain daily passes for AED400 per day, or monthly memberships for AED4,500. The United Arab Emirates government hopes to attract some 15 million tourists to the luxe Monte Carlo Beach Club by 2020.
