Château Eza on the Côte d’Azur

Hotel Château Eza French Riviera (11)

Château Eza is a place for the crème de la crème! You can find it on the edge of a cliff in a medieval village called Eze, on the Côte d’Azur. Set some 400 meters above the beautiful Mediterranean, the chateau recently underwent a five-month refurbishment and is now again open to affluent visitors.

Today a boutique hotel, Château Eza was once home to Prince William of Sweden. In order to preserve its royal feel, the 400-year-old walls of the building were kept intact and unchanged. Only exceptional materials were used for this hotel, including Italian Emperado marble and warm terracotta for the bedrooms, Travertine and Carrera marble in the bathrooms, Egyptian cotton linens for the bedding and more.

The hotel as a total of eleven rooms, of which six have completely functional chimneys, giving them a plus of authenticity. Royal blues and “lavish noble whites” contribute to a high-class décor, while geothermal windows and in-floor heating ensure regal comfort to every guest. For an even more special experience, you can choose the Panoramic or the Chateau suites, each with spacious outdoor private terraces and Jacuzzis, plus other alluring amenities.
