Finally introducing a more sophisticated design to its portfolio, Casio has recently unveiled its new MT-G: Metal Twisted G-Shock Collection. The launch happened only a couple of days ago in New York City, during the G-Shock 30th Anniversary “Shock the World 2013” event.
Each piece in the new premium line is made to last through generations and face any type of environment conditions, plus a wide range of shocks and mechanical abuses. Underneath the new, more professional design lies the manufacturer’s LED-infused Tough Movement that can work flawlessly even when faced with powerful gravitational forces or centrifugal force resistance. Time and date will forever keep their accuracy as the watch will get constant updates wirelessly from atomic clocks around the world.
Aimed to the affluent lifestyle consumer, the first generation of MT-G watches will come in three classy models: one in polished stainless steel and resin ($900), one in refined black Ion Plated stainless steel and resin ($1,000), and a limited edition version that celebrates G-Shock’s 30th anniversary with gold details and a red paneled bracelet ($1,100).
