Another Fully Functional Apple I Computer at Auction

If you missed last year’s opportunity to buy Steve Job’s revolutionary Apple I Computer, then here is your chance to bid for another fully functional unit from 1976. Created by Jobs and his partner Steve Wozniak, the computer no longer has its original wooden case, but it still has the processor board, keyboard, monitor, and even a tape player.

Selling the historic machine is Breker, the same auction house from Germany who also sold last year’s Apple I for $640,000. This unit is only expected to fetch a maximum of $400,000, but who knows how high the price might get?

Another significant lot at the auction will be the world’s first computer with a mouse. It is a 1983 Apple Lisa-1, and it is estimated to get between $20,000 and $40,000.
