People in The Hague, Netherlands must be really proud of their new outstanding city hall building! The Leyweg Municipal Office was built with the intention of making it a catalyst to a modernized and renewed district. With a bold contemporary architecture and intimidating dimensions, the building is a new landmark that is definitely drawing lots of attention in the area.
Designed by Rudy Uytenhaak Architects and featuring a combination of old and new building techniques, the spectacular Dutch office boasts surprisingly spacious areas, flooded by natural light and appropriate for different usages. White marble was chosen for the multi-faceted façade, and the same bright color dominates the interiors as well. See more in the following photos.
