Minimalist House by Kendle Design Collaborative

The owner of this great house in Scottsdale, Arizona wanted a “see-through home with a high level of privacy”, that would feature alluring minimalist cues. Kendle Design Collaborative did the job perfectly and here is the final result.

The extensive use of glass offers open views of the lovely surroundings, but does not compromise the dwellers’ privacy. Beautifully landscaped courtyards lures people outside, and so does the nearby lake. Asymmetric shapes seem to dominate the entire structure, and here the copper-clad roof has a major role.

While the architecture of the residence was created by Kendle Design Collaborative alone, the landscape design was made in collaboration with Floor & Associates, and the interior design was done with a little help from Jack Wosniak.
