In 2013, CCA Centro de Colaboración Arquitectónica designed this stunning residence in Mexico City for a music producer and artist. On the outside, the residence features a simple and minimalistic design, but its interior arrangements were implemented with comfort and luxury in mind. Blending warmth and modern aesthetics, the abode boasts a modular layout that favors natural light and a connection to the outdoors.
Moreover, since it was created for a music producer, each room has impressive acoustic qualities, which means that every module can be transformed into a recording studio should the need arise. High quality finishes, hardwood floors and simple yet practical furnishings contribute to a cozy and comfortable ambiance. The two levels of the CEH residence are linked by an interior staircase, which flaunts wooden “floating” steps as well as metal railings.
