WY Restaurant with Mercedes Appeal

This luxurious haven of sleek surfaces and gourmet food is the work of Belgium designer Franky Claeys. It is an in-house restaurant inspired by Mercedes-Benz and the perfection that defines the automaker’s every single creation. A two-star Michelin chef runs everything that happens in the open kitchen and guests can even admire the cooking process on giant video screens on the back wall of the cooking area.

WY Restaurant’s main source of design inspiration came from a special version of the superb SL 65 AMG series, which sported a black and orange livery. Customers can read the menu off iPads and high-tech plasma screens, because pretty much everything in this place is top-notch and very techy. Beautifully complementing the overall design are three light sculptures by artist Matilde Alessandra, all three inspired by the stylized Mercedes star logo. Check out the photo gallery below.
