World’s Priciest Cheese Slicer Was Stolen In Amsterdam

It’s really not all that surprising to find out that some large diamond or lavish jewelry piece has gone missing, as burglars are always keeping an eye out for these rare catches. However, a team of burglars in Amsterdam decided to go after the world’s priciest cheese slicer, and it looks like they actually managed to get away with the big prize, at least for now. The item in question is completely unique. It was created by a Dutch cheeseware maker called Boska and an Argentinean jewelry designer named Rodrigo Otazu.

The slicer’s $26,000 price tag is justified by the 220 diamonds that adorn it and transform it into a veritable jewelry piece.  Fortunately, the thieves were caught on camera and investigators are currently trying to find them based on their sketches. Those who are able to help the police with any information regarding the identity of the perpetrators will be rewarded with a Mr. Big Fondue set and a Boska Cheese Gift Basket.
The world’s most expensive cheese slicer was stolen on February 28, 2015.
