World’s Most Expensive Loudspeaker of 18K Solid Gold

World’s Most Expensive Loudspeaker of 18K Solid Gold (3)

Coming from Hart Audio, this here is the world’s most expensive loudspeaker, and it’s made out of 18-karat solid gold! It’s a one-off creation worth a staggering £3 million (about $4.7 million), but for the less lavish there are also two other versions made of sterling silver or bronze.

Audiophiles will definitely appreciate the quality of sound that comes out of these luxe speakers, as they were inspired by the ancient traditions of bellfounding acoustic technology. Weighing 50 kg (110 lbs) each, the speakers flaunt very organic designs, with fluid lines and perfectly shimmering finishes. With adjustable chrome stands, the they deliver perfect output when placed in the corners of a room.

Called D&W Aural Pleasure, they will boast prohibitively high prices, being excellent symbol of opulence. The Phosphor Bronze version will be limited to 99 pairs, and will cost £40,000 (approx. $63,000), while the Silver edition will be limited to only 5 pairs and will cost £200,000 (approx. $314,000).
