Whitney Houston Memorabilia Auction by Julien’s

Whitney Houston has passed away almost two weeks ago, but her legacy will certainly never die. Her amazing voice has fascinated the world for decades, and a legend like her can never be forgotten.

After her demise, all the things that she ever used or wore have suddenly become even more precious than before. People are now willing to pay good money to own all sorts of Whitney Huston memorabilia, and diehard fans of the superstar will soon have the possibility to do exactly that.

Only one day after the singer was buried at the New Jersey cemetery next to her father, an announcement was made about a memorabilia auction that would include the pearl drop earrings that Houston wore in the movie Bodyguard, plus other props and accessories that she wore at different events. A floor-length black velvet gown with long sleeves, and a floral vest of hers will also go under the hammer.

Julien’s will sell the items at its 2012 Hollywood Legends Auction that will take place between March 31 and April 1. Darren Julien, the founder of the auction house, defended his decision to sell the items so soon after the singer’s demise, and said: “these items, they’re an investment. You buy items just like a stock. Buy at the right time and sell at the right time, and they just increase in value.”
