Volkswagen Plans to Bring More Goodies to the States

Volkswagen of America CEO Jonathan Browning has recently revealed a quite exciting information Scirocco-wise. Apparently, the car that hasn’t been seen on U.S. territory for so many years is finally getting ready to roll to the other side of the pond. Automotive News has reported that the German automaker is now working on a new generation Scirocco, one that might just catch the boat to the States.

It’s not exactly clear whether Browning was talking about an upgraded version of the current model or a whole new car, but we are already enjoying the thought of seeing the Scirocco in U.S. showrooms. Other news that Browning brought forth include talks about the Passat Alltrack to be sold in diesel from in the States, and reiterations of the company’s intention of introducing a mid-size SUV that would fit between the Touareg and the Tiguan.
