Volkswagen’s Fun Buggy Up! Concept

Volkswagen’s Fun Buggy Up! Concept

At this year’s Frankfurt Auto Show, Volkswagen unveiled the new production Up! city car plus a few other Up!-based concept vehicles. One of them was the fun and compact Buggy Up!. Inspired by the famous Meyers Manx, the car has no doors, but it does have a removable fabric roof and plenty of other very interesting features.

The German automaker equipped the Buggy concept with a waterproof cockpit, drain holes, neoprene bucket seats, a removable infotainment module, height-adjustable steering wheel,  and even a grab-handle for the passenger. Volkswagen describes the two-seat beach car as a “bright orange ray of sunshine”. How affectionate!
