We are a long way from Christmas, but Selfridges is already getting ready for the magical season. The high end department store has recently presented its new Christmas Collection. Many important names of the fashion industry have contributed to this project and one of them is Victoria Beckham, the new and happy mom of baby girl Harper Seven. Her creation is a one-off luxury clutch, made of white crocodile skin and flaunting a gold linked chain. It costs a whopping £8,995 ($14,750).
Probably the only ones who were not exactly over the moon with the elegant clutch were the animal rights people at PETA. They “100 percent respectfully” contacted the former Spice Girl to inform her about the animal cruelties that take place in the world for the sake of fashion. They also mentioned that they very much appreciate Victoria’s rejection of fur.
Other items in the glamorous collection include a white wedding dress by Daniella Helayel (£620 or $1,015), white silk diamond-adorned underwear by Nicole de Carle (£300 or $490), a men’s trench coat by Burberry (£995 or $1,630) and a furniture advent calendar by Hendzel and Hunt.
