Upgraded Range Rover Evoque by Hamann

Hamann brought a really nice version of the compact Range Rover Evoque at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. The package is described by the tuner as a Hamann designer outfit, further emphasizing the car’s visual appeal. For those who like their SUVs extra powerful, the German auto refiner introduced a new high-performance exhaust system that gives some extra muscle to the Evoque.

The 2.2 TD4 and the 2.2 ED4 now sport 31 more horsepower and 48 more pound-feet of torque, while the 2.2 Si4 has 38 extra horsepower and 41 extra pound-feet of torque. These new numbers were also achieved thanks to some engine software modifications and the introduction of a new sports air filter.

On the outside, Hamann fitted the car with a new aerodynamics package that includes a two-piece lower spoiler at the front, a new rear bumper, plus fender extensions and side sills that contribute to a widening of the body by 70mm at the front and by 80mm at the rear. The stainless steel muffler with double pipes is placed at the center of the rear bumper. As for the car’s interior, the tuner promises to offer an endless list of personalization possibilities for their clients.
