Upcoming Star Wars Memorabilia Auction by Profiles in History

In a couple of days diehard Star Wars fans and collectors will have the opportunity to enter a bidding war for a new series of exquisite memorabilia. Profiles in History will hold its Drama, Action, Romance: The Hollywood Auction on December 15-16, when some really awesome film props will go under the hammer in front of a very excited audience.

– an original X-Wing Fighter filming miniature from the episode IV – A New Hope (presale expectations: between $80,000 and $120,000)
– a rejected Yoda head made by Industrial Light & Magic ($4,000-$6,000)
– Luke Skywalker’s stunt lightsaber from episode VI – Return of the Jedi ($30,000-$50,000)
– an Imperial Royal Guard helmet from the same episode ($40,000-$60,000)
– a Rebel Alliance pilot helmet from the episode V – The Empire Strikes Back ($20,000-$30,000)
