NuForce has blinged up their uDAC-2 audio converter and thus adapted it to the whims of the upscale audiophiles. Called the uDAC-2 Signature Gold Edition, this 24 bit/96kHz USB digital converter has a 3.5 mm headphone output, a digital coaxial output and an analog RVA output.
The exterior of the uDAC-2 SGE boasts a shiny 24-karat gold plating and front and back panels made of stainless steel. To add a little more appeal to the device, NuForce set a Swarovski crystal on the volume knob. The sparkling stone also acts like a volume pointer.
For $399,99, the uDAC-2 SGE comes with a customized packaging and a series of accessories too. Inside its leather case you will find a premium USB cable, a carrying pouch and a special cleaning cloth.
