The most recent edition of the Chicago Auto Show had its fair share of surprises, one of which came from Toyota in the form of its TRD Off-Road 4×4 Double Cab Short Bed. Even though this ride was designed to tackle the world’s most unwelcoming roads, it includes a plethora of comfort-orientated features, including an Entune Premium audio system, leather trimmed front seating and a front panel with built in navigation.
As far as power is concerned, this ride is equipped with a six-speed manual or a six speed automatic gearbox, both versions featuring something called Crawl Control – a system that regulates the throttle and brakes if you end up rolling off the road. The showroom model featured 16-inch black allow wheels enveloped in Goodyear Wrangler Kevlar reinforced tires, while the available paintjobs included gray, metallic red and white. Last but not least, we should mentioned the black hood scoop, the menacing grille and the LED fog lights.
Not bad at all, right?
