Even though it borrows the same last name as its mother company, the Tonino Lamborghini brand has nothing to do with automobile manufacturing but instead focuses on retailing other lifestyle luxury products such as clothing pieces, furniture, bicycles, watches, perfumes, eyewear and even smartphones.
The company recently unveiled its first ever smartphone, which was named “Antares” and will be retailed in Russia and China starting December 2013, while Spring 2014 will bring it to Great Britain, USA and Italy. This limited edition gadget is definitely in sync with the current trends when it comes to features, but they all come with a pretty spicy price tag, $4000 to be precise. The smartphone is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor and flaunts 1 GB of RAM memory as well as 32 GB of internal storage memory complemented by an SD card slot. The operating system is a customized Android 4.2 Jelly Bean that boasts a custom interface, while the 2 HD cameras come with a resolution of 13 megapixels at the back and 5 megapixels at the front. Other impressive features involve a built-in Yamaha amplifier paired with 2 speakers that ensure a high-end listening experience, while the large 4-inch touchscreen is protected by a layer of Gorilla Glass, which is very hard to shatter.
As far as its looks are concerned, the standard Antares comes with a handcrafted stainless-steel body and leather panels in different colors, but the label also plans to release a lavish 24k gold version for those that need a little extra bling.
