Tonino Lamborghini Tauri 88 Is A Lavish Smartphone

Supercar lovers usually have big wallets that fuel their expensive hobby, but they don’t usually settle for buying just expensive cars. Supercar-inspired timepieces, lavish accessories and exclusive gadgets are often of their shopping lists, which is why we think that the success of the Tonino Lamborghini Tauri 88 smartphone is pretty much guaranteed.

The gadget was crafted in Italy using high quality materials such as leather and stainless steel, and it features the famed Lamborghini emblem depicting a raging bull for a touch of exclusivity and originality. As far as tech is concerned, the Tauri 88 flaunts a 5-inch 1080p display with Gorilla Glass 3, 3GB of RAM memory, a 10-point touch panel and a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 801 quad core processor. Its operating system is Android 4.4 KitKat, which will probably be upgraded to the new Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Since the phone honors none other than Tonino Lamborghini himself, it is part of a limited edition of 1947 units, the number representing Tonino’s birth year. The smartphone will cost $6,000 and will become available for pre-order by the end of 2014.
