However, a Russian enthusiast has decided that 258 horsepower just isn’t enough for his precious X3, which is why he decided to swap the stock engine for an outstanding tri-turbo diesel sourced from an M50d.
The new engine ensures a power output of 550 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque, and it is complemented by a brand new gearbox and intake system. The powertrain ensures a 0 to 125 mph sprint time of 9.5 seconds, as well as some incredible drifting opportunities.
