Some really jaw-dropping classics will be soon displayed at this year’s Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este. The traditional event will be held on the property of the Grand Hotel Villa d’Este, near Villa Erba in Cernobbio on Lake Como.
It will all happen between May 20-22, and this time not only car enthusiasts are expected: for the first time ever, a Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este for motorcycles will be held, and we expect it to be truly impressive. Also a deluxe car sale by RM Auctions has been announced.
Another novelty is the fact that the some twenty gorgeous automobiles belonging to the sixties category will be arranged according to three new promising subcategories: The Sport, The Glamour and the Unexpected. Quality and style are a promise.
So what can you expect to find at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este 2011? A flawless organization, generous hospitality, outstanding vehicles and last but not the least, a very beautiful setting. The press conference held at this year’s Geneva Motor Show gave us a glimpse at the gems that will be displayed near Lake Como in May: a 1961 Jaguar E-Type Coupe, a 1965 Alfa Romeo TZ2 Coupe Zagato, a 1933 Rolls-Royce Phantom II Special Town Car Brewster and many, many more.
