Traxxas, known for its beautiful remote control cars manufactured over 25 years of existence, designed the XO-1, an all-wheel-drive electric RC Car. Believe it or not, this car can reach 60 mph in 2.3 seconds and 100 mph in 4.92, thanks to the new iOS app, which makes it the fastest remote control car in the world.
The vehicle features a 1,650 Kv Traxxas Big Block Brushless electric motor, functional with the help of two 3-cell, 5,000 mAh lithium-polymer battery packs that can be recharged. One can control this speed monster with the new Traxxas TQi radio system and the Traxxas Link app for iOS. Even the iPhone or iPod can be used as a fine-tuned control system or a virtual dashboard. The battery voltage, speed, RPM and temperature are displayed in real time, and the throttle trim and steering sensitivity can be adjusted using the series of sliders.
You can buy this beauty in red or black beginning with December 30th at $1,100. The Traxxas Link app will be also available from December 20th.
