Smart goes all-electric again, but this time with more style than ever. The new zero-emissions concept vehicle features a classy design, with a high-gloss metallic paintjob and advanced LED lighting technology, both on the headlights and on the sidelights. The body of the car flaunts a combination of reinforced plastic and glass fiber which leads to a lightweight vehicle with good aerodynamics.
Add to this a 30kW magneto-electric motor and you’ll get a compact electric vehicle that can complete the 0 to 60 km/h (or 37 mph) in just 5.5 seconds and can reach a maximum speed of 120 km/h (75 mph). In 45 minute, the batteries can be charged to 80 percent of their maximum capacity from a normal 220 volt socket. With a fully charged battery, the vehicle can transport you for 125 kilometers (or 78 miles).
