The Fascination Is A $40 Million Watch By Graff

The title for the world’s most expensive watch changes regularly, as renowned watchmakers such as Hublot, Patek Philippe and Rolex are constantly manufacturing masterpieces of micro-engineering, some of which are worth as much as a nice house. However, Baselworld 2015 brought with it the unveiling of The Fascination, which is described as “the world’s most expensive transformable timepiece”. Created by Graff Diamonds, the piece costs $40 million and is adorned with 152.96 carats of white diamonds complemented by a 38.13-carat pear-shaped diamond.

The unique piece can transform into a diamond ring thanks to an interchangeable pear-shaped diamond and a tailor-made shank. When asked about this outstanding creation, the founder and chairman of Graff Diamonds, Laurence Graff, stated the following: “The Fascination is an outstanding piece, carefully crafted so it can be worn in a number of different ways – adding a touch of magic to the jewel.”
