Upgraded and refreshed, the 2013 Volkswagen CC is ready to impress the world with its alluring qualities, many of which come as standard features. The four-door sedan now rides on new 17- and 18-inch wheels, has LED daytime running lamps and tail lamps, and can seat four or five passengers. The five-passenger configuration is optional and it includes an extra set of seat belts for the middle passenger.
Powering the new CC is a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder capable of 200 hp and coupled with a six speed dual clutch or six-speed manual. If you opt for this powertrain, you also get a front-wheel drive. If you go with the 3.6-liter 6-cylinder with 280 hp and a six-speed automatic, you can choose between the standard front wheel drive and the automaker’s 4motion all-wheel drive. The car will appear in showrooms sometime in the first quarter of 2012. No word on its price yet.
