Swarovski-Inspired Sculptural Furnishings by Beta Tank

Swarovski crystals have been used as decorations for all sorts of pieces of furniture, but this might just be the first time that they work as sources of design inspiration, rather than sources of extra sparkle and glamour. Berlin-based design studio Beta Tank has created a unique set of furnishings inspired by Swarovski gems, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Swarovski Crystal Palace.

The collection is called “Beta” and it was designed by Eyal Burstein of Beta Tank. Unveiled at Design Miami/Basel, the pieces attracted a lot of attention with their innovative designs. The artist used different materials for this collection, including metal, plexiglass, and concrete. Light also played an important role in this very sculptural collection, with LEDs illuminating the Chaton-cut shapes for special glittering effects. See more in the gallery below.
