Custom bike builder Diamond Atelier and streetwear label K1X have decided to collaborate in order to create a very special motorcycle based on the BMW R nineT. Since both of these brands started off in Munich, Germany, their choice for a BMW bike makes sense, and since K1X wanted to design a low-slung two-wheeler with an aggressive look, Diamond Atelier was an obvious choice.
The result of their collaboration is powered by a 1,180cc two-cylinder Boxer engine that’s good for 115 horsepower. Other details include an upgraded suspension, a hand-built header, a GP exhaust muffler and a brand new intake system. The frame also received some attention, and it accommodates a hand-built aluminum gas tank, a hand-stitched seat and a CNC-machined cover for the alternator. We should also mention the eye-catching superblack finish complemented by the hand-mixed olive paint that adorns the hubs and some of the seat details.
