Blending the best characteristics of a luxury hotel and a Michelin-starred restaurant is no easy feat, but that’s exactly what chef Raymond Blanc managed to achieve with the Belmond Le Manoir Aux Quat’Saisons. This fabulous establishment located in the Oxfordshire countryside offers lavish accommodations and delicious meals to its esteemed guests, some of which are willing to travel across the world in order to spend some time there.
Accommodations include 23 lavish rooms and suites, four of which were redesigned by Emily Todhunter in 2010. What makes this hotel unique is the fact that each one of its rooms comes with its own name and theme, such as Lace, Passion Flower and L’Orangerie. What’s also impressive is the fact that the vegetables and herbs used to prepare the meals are grown locally in a nearby garden. The hotel’s restaurant flaunts two Michelin stars, by the way.
