Simply called 2014 GT-R Special Edition, this new beauty from Nissan is classy and very alluring. It doesn’t bring power or speed enhancements, but it does boast an irresistible appeal, due to its all new Midnight Opal exterior and a few other luxe touches.
The color is highly reflective, making the car sparkle like a jewel every time light reaches its sleek surface. Also, the car’s color shifts (deep blue/purple) as the viewing angle and lighting conditions change. Clearly, the photos in the gallery don’t do it justice.
Just like the Gentleman and Track editions, this GT-R comes with a dry carbon fiber rear spoiler, which enhances both its aerodynamics and its looks. Another excellent touch of style is given by the lightweight forged-aluminum wheels with hyper-titanium coating. In order to underline the car’s exclusive character, the engine compartment features a gold number plate.
Only 100 units will be produced, and when they hit the market in September, they will sell for $105,590, which is $6,000 more than the Premium version.
