Completed in 2014 by a team of architects from A4estudio, the Evans House represents a contemporary residential project located in Tunuyán, Mendoza, Argentina. The house itself features a modern exterior design as well as spacious and comfortable interiors, but what’s arguably even more impressive about this project is its incredible location.
You see, most of the rooms benefit from spectacular views of Uco`s Valley and the Andes, not to mention the nearby vineyards. The house rests on a basement built using local river stones that, while the exterior is coated in rusty metal elements that blend nicely with the surrounding environment. Inside, natural wood is the main material used for the finishes, and it contributes to a warm and cozy ambiance.
