After a whole year of research and development, Wilson Audio is ready to unveil a new and pretty amazing speaker system, dubbed Alexia. The tall speakers feature a tri-modular design and weigh approximately 255 pounds each. Their dimensions are: 53.22 inches in adjustable height, 21.14 inches in depth, and 15.23 inches in depth.
Alexia has a frequency response range between 20 Hz and 32 kHz, +/- 3 dB, sensitivity of 90dBSPL, and impedance of 4 ohms with a minimum of 2 ohms at 80 Hz. Priced at $48,500, the speaker has the bass enclosure manufactured entirely of X Material (the company’s iconic material), while the midrange and tweeter are housed in S Material boxes.
Wilson Audio also added two new bass drivers (208mm and 254mm), and a new driver for the high frequencies, called the Alexandria XLF’s Convergent Synergy Tweeter. Audiophiles will definitely love this new product!
