Special Anniversary Land Rover Defender LXV

In order to celebrate the company’s 65th anniversary, Land Rover created an awesome new version of their best-selling Defender model. Called Defender LXV (which in Roman numerals means ‘65’), this special edition ride will be available in Fuji White or Santorini Black, and its production will unsurprisingly be limited to 65 units.

Rolling on 16-inch Sawtooth-style alloy wheels, the car will be able to complete the 0-60 mph print in 14.7 seconds. Power will come from a 2.2-liter diesel engine in the form of 122 hp and 265 lb-ft of torque. Transmission will be a 6-speed manual one.

Distinctive features include headrests embossed with ‘LXV’ logo, bright orange stitching, and an optional Union Jack decal on the rear end of the vehicle, attesting the brand’s British origins. Prices will start somewhere around $45,000.
