One Seabourn experience is enough to make you come back for more. And more is exactly what the luxury cruise company has to offer with their new vessel, the Seabourn Quest. Currently the newest luxury cruise ship in the world, the Quest is also the largest one from Seabourn so far.
Taking everything that people loved about the smaller vessels in the Odyssey class (the Seabourn Odyssey and the Seabourn Sojourn) and expanding on those features, this luxury ship is among the best ones out there. It flaunts 225 lushly appointed suites, most of them with private verandas, an 11,400 square-foot spa, several dining venues (some more formal, others more casual), six bars and lounges and much more. Seabourn also promises impeccable services for every guest, with personalization opportunities for everyone onboard.
The launching ceremony for the new ship took place on June 20 in Barcelona, where actress Blythe Danner was Quest’s godmother. After this important event, the vessel was ready to start its 14-day maiden voyage to Athens, that will be followed by a number of 7-day cruises on the Eastern Mediterranean, a 7-day trip on the Black Sea and then several cruises on the Caribbean. In January 2012, the Seabourn Quest will go from Fort Lauderdale to Venice in a 109-day World Cruise.
