RM Auctions to Sell a Perfectly Restored 1957 Maserati 250S

This stunningly beautiful 1957 Maserati 250S has been carefully restored to its original form to be sold at an upcoming RM Auctions event in London. The car is one of the very few that were ever built and this model is the best of the 200S series.

An important aspect that differentiated it from the smaller 200S is the inline 6 engine with 230 hp. This made the vehicle a fierce competitor in racing events, reaching an impressive speed of 161 mph. The 250S was manufactured for a limited number of racing pioneers of that time, including Carroll Shelby and Jim Hall.

The unit that will be offered for sale on September 8 is several decades old, yet it looks like it has just been rolled out of the assembly plant. A great deal of care and money has been invested in its restoration, so interested customers should be ready to pay good money for it, even though presale estimations haven’t been released yet.
