As a talented fashion designer, Ralf Lauren has a special eye for car designs as well. He can fully appreciate a good looking vehicle and will not hesitate to buy it for himself. That’s how his immense car collection was created. We’ve seen impressive garages before, but this one isn’t even a garage, it’s more like a museum for the rarest and most expensive cars in the world.
First of all, his cars have their own separate home, near his luxurious estate in Westchester, NY. It is a former storage facility of a car dealership, which he renovated and adapted to meet his needs. What you see in the ‘red picture’ is the Ferrari room of the ‘museum’, where cars like an exquisite 1958 Testa Rossa await their turn to be driven.
Yes, Ralph can drive any of his cars, as they all have been either fully restored or perfectly kept in a great condition. Among the best rides in his garage we mention the only Lamborghini Reventon Roadster in the States, the only 1930 Mercedes-Benz SSK ‘Count Trossi’ roadster in the world, and a 1936 Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic, which is currently the world’s most expensive car. Not bad at all for a single collection!
