One of the many goodies to admire at the upcoming Basel world show starting next week is the new Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean GMT 600Mwristwatch. An absolutely beautiful new member of the Planet Ocean family, the watch will bear the GoodPlanet name. For those of you who don’t know what that name represents, it is an ocean conservation group with which the watchmaker has been collaborating for the last few years.
As the bezel (and its name) clearly indicates, the timepiece has a GMT function that is highlighted with orange touches. The orange GMT scale and hand beautifully contrast with the blue dial. The case is made of steel and measures 43.5 mm, while the strap is available as a bracelet or a blue rubber one. Powering the piece is an Omega co-axial caliber 8605 with Silicon balance spring with 600 m water resistance, just as the name indicates.
