ABT Sportsline did a fantastic job in upgrading the roaring engine of the Audi S8 the first time around, but they did an even better job when they had a second crack at it. Developed for the 2014 Audi S8 facelift, the first performance package by ABT involved a boost of 96 lb-ft of torque and 120 horsepower for the car’s V8 4.0-liter twin-turbo engine, which added up to an end output of 575 lb-ft of torque and 640 horsepower. Not bad at all!
The second version of the package allows the roaring beast to stretch even further, all the way to 619 lb-ft of torque and 670 horsepower. This means that the ABT Sportsline Audi S8 is officially 0.5 seconds faster during a 0-62 mph sprint when compared to its original counterpart. The sprint can be done in just 3.6 seconds, and since the experts removed the vehicle’s 155mph speed limiter, it can now reach its full potential and go all the way up to 180 mph.
Visually, this Audi boasts 20- and 21-inch alloy wheels wrapped in high quality tires, and its riding height is lowered by 25mm. A custom muffler system is also a part of the deal. The Audi S8 by ABT Sportsline flaunts a generous 2-year or 100,000 km (62,137 miles) warranty in Germany.
