Pierre Hermé’s Treats Can Be Enjoyed At A Luxe Hotel In Paris

If you have a sweet tooth and you find yourself in Paris during this time of year, might we suggest you visit the exquisite Le Royal Monceau Raffles hotel? The reason we’re suggesting this is because the establishment’s Bar Long is being used to showcase Pierre Hermé’s most delightful sweet treats. The chocolate pop-up bar is available daily between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m., and it offers sublime desserts such as Grand Cru tester “tablets” and pralines.

When it comes to drinks, the offerings include Comme au 16eme Siecle, which boasts South American spices, as well as a drinking chocolate named  Viennois and a chocolate milk called  Originel, which flaunts a mix of pepper, grains and corn foam topping. The second course comprises Azur, which is a chocolate mouse created using Grand Cru Manjari smooth cream complemented by chocolate shortbread biscuit. Then there’s the candied Kochi yuzu with its dried lime slices and yuzu sauce, and the Plénitude Millefeuilles, which includes puff pastry with Grand Cru Araguani chocolate mascarpone cream, dark chocolate slivers and salted butter caramel. The second course also features Délire Délice Infiniment Praliné Noisette.
The Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris “Bar Chocolat by Pierre Hermé Paris” event is set to last until March 31. As far as pricing goes, dessert Pastries start off at about $23, while drinks start off at $14.80.
