US Pagani fans, this one is for you! After first saddening us by announcing that their beautiful Huayra was not ready to make it to this side of the pond, Pagani is now ready to make us happy again, announcing that they have found a way to put the outstanding supercar on the American market.
The Italian supercar manufacturer has spent a whopping €4 million (approx. $5.1 million) to make it possible for US fans to enjoy the Huayra on their roads. They have installed new smart airbags to meet our country’s strict regulations, and now everybody seems to be happy. There’s only one problem, though: Pagani will only sell 15 Huayras in the States.
The coveted vehicle is powered by a 6.0-liter biturbo V12 engine which delivers 720 horsepower and 737 pound-foot of torque. This results in stunning performance figures: a top speed of 230 mph, and a 0-62 mph time of only 3.3 seconds. It’s no wonder Americans wanted the beast so badly!
