The latest addition to the Luminor collection by Officine Panerai is a luxurious flyback chronograph boasting impeccable looks and excellent quality. It is called the Officine Panerai Luminor 1950 Rattrapante 8 Days Titanio (PAM530) and it features a 47-mm case made of titanium, as the name suggests.
Powering the watch is an in-house mechanical Swiss-made calibre P. 2006/3 with vertical clutch and two column wheels. The movement was first unveiled in 2007, but its name was given by the date in which the watchmaker started developing it.
Featuring a quite elegant rubber strap, an 8-day power reserve, and a classy display with stop-seconds, split seconds chronograph, small seconds at 9 o’clock, minutes and hours, the timepiece is now part of the much anticipated SIHH 2013.
