New, Chic and Quirky QT Sydney Hotel

Two of Sydney’s most important historical buildings have recently been renovated and transformed into a new luxurious hotel, called QT Sydney. The State Theatre and the Gowings Building have been brought back to their original glory and turned into an absolutely irresistible boutique hotel. Even though it retains much of the original characteristics of the buildings, QT Sydney has a very fresh vibe that perfectly fits the contemporary lifestyle of luxury seekers.

The original architecture of the State Theater boasted a mix of Venetian and Art Deco elements, while the Gowings building was inspired by Gothic Palazzos, and now they look very much like they used to when they were first erected during the early 1900s. Visitors can even admire the intimidating gargoyles on the buildings, a detail which has been forgotten for many decades.

There are 200 lushly appointed guest suites to choose from in the hotel, all offering plenty of comfort in the shape of lavish beddings, walk-in showers, and high-speed internet. Most suites also feature large soaking tubs for a little extra pampering. A very contemporary and even quirky design dominates the interiors resulting in a unique ambiance. We declare the new QT Sydney hotel a must-visit.
