One of the automotive highlights of this year is the beautiful 2014 Audi RS7. Powered by a potent 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, this baby is both powerful and fast. The 560 hp, 516 lb-ft of torque engine is coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission with Manual, Sport and Drive modes.
With all four wheels getting power from the engine, the new RS7 can go from standstill to 60 mph in only 3.9 seconds and then continue to push to the 150 mph top speed (electronically limited). This may sound a little disappointing for some of you, and Audi has anticipated that. Consequently, the German automaker has also created a separate dynamic package for a max speed of 174 mph, and a dynamic plus package for 190 mph.
The base version is expected to sell for $135,000, but those of you who will want all the extras available should be ready to pay in excess of $150,000. Audi will bring the fresh RS7 to the States towards the end of the year, and we are very excited about it.
With LED daytime running lights, massive wheels (20 inches standard, 21 inches optional), wheel arch extensions, sills and new rear bumper with diffuser, the car is more aggressive looking than ever. The interior flaunts sport seats, aluminum pedals, lots of leather and a few carbon fiber touches.
