Mobikoma – The Phone/Tablet Puzzle

Mobikoma – The Phone Tablet Puzzle (9)

How about a mini mobile phone sized 22 mm x 44 mm x 6 mm? That’s exactly what you can get if you link two Mobikoma modules. But what are these modules, and how can they be used to work together as a high-tech mobile device?

Mobikoma is a phone/tablet that is composed out of several independent elements, each one with its own processor and power supply. They can be linked to each other via mini locks, giving the user the opportunity to create a touchscreen smartphone or even a tablet.

Two of these tiny independent devices are special, because they contain the microphone, and the SIM storage with phone/tablet memory. For a regular-sized mobile phone you need 18 elements, while a tablet requires 54 modules. The designer behind this very interesting concept is Kamil Izrailov.
