IWC Ingenieur Chronograph Silberpfeil is a new and absolutely beautiful timepiece by IWC. It was designed as a tribute to the 1930s Mercedes-Benz racers known as Silberpfeil, which means “Silver Arrow”. Available in two versions – with brown or with silver dial – the watch features a 45 mm by 15 mm case and an automatic mechanical IWC 89361 flyback chronograph movement.
The perlage dial features two subdials and a date window at the 6 o’clock position, while the case back shows a miniature engraving of a beautiful Mercedes Wilver Arrow. The case is made of stainless steel, and the strap is black rubber with brown calfskin inlay. Only 1000 units will ever be produced, each one priced at $13,100.
