At this year’s edition of the Geneva Motor Show, McLaren has unveiled a special tribute car that honors one of the company’s most appreciated models: the P1. Created by McLaren Special Operations, this unique P1 boasts an exposed carbon fiber body complemented by a Lio Blue lacquer, while the exhaust heat shield was covered in 24-karat gold for a plus of lavishness and exclusivity. The interior has also received some attention in the form of new trims, while the wheels now flaunt an elegant glossy finish.
Power-wise, this car is animated by a 3.8-liter V8 turbo engine that’s good for 531 pound-feet of torque and 727 horsepower. The engine ensures a 0 to 60 mph sprint time of just 2.8 seconds as well as a 0 to 128 mph sprint time of 6.8 seconds.
Not bad McLaren. Not bad at all.
