Runway to Green was a project meant to bring together some of the top designers of the world with the purpose of raising awareness about the environment. They each had to create one fashion item for the Runway to Green Collection and here is what Prada made: the Mary Jane Leather Boots which deceive the eye because of the red-nude color combination.
At a first glance you might believe that the woman is wearing a pair of red shoes, when in fact they are a pair of eccentric boots priced $1,500. The Runway to Green project also included a fashion show and a charity auction on March 29, 2011.
